It's easy, the parts aren't that costly and he can watch and learn. That way he can do it himself next time and tell the dealer to bite him.

Just means I'll charge him $100 in labor for something I've done to my car before. Still not a bad deal. I'm not out to rob the guy. Dealer will charge him WAY more and probably use low grade stuff in his car.

Default Lots of opinions when it comes to oil and tranny lubes...

Most here use Mobil 1 in 5w30, 0w40 and a few other weights. I run the 0w40. For the tranny I run Royal Purple Max gear. It's GL-4 and GL-5 rated so it can be used in the tranny and rear diff. Go with OE plugs if you're not chipped. Most everything else can be found in the tech section or by using the search at the top right of the screen.
