Default I never had to enter my code but that might be due to the fact that its the radio that came with the

car so someone correct me if i am wrong:

the radio knows when its in another car and then requires code to reactivate.

If you disconnect the battery for an extended period of time, it usually requires the code as well.

Default does it have to be a dealership, or can I go to my preferred foreigh auto repair shop?

also, if they somehow find the code... they should GIVE it to me, right?? which is exactly what the stealership did NOT do last time... and I was too stupid to ask for it!

Default I looked in the trunk for a hidden code on sticker...

found a small sticker on each speaker that says OLGA 2279.... could that be it?

Otherwise I found a large sticker in the spare wheel well, but it had a bunch of vehicle info on it... not the radio I think.

anywhere else to look? since the page with the procedure is missing from the manual, and the code on the card is wrong, I suspect some previous owner has tore out that one page and written the code on it... probably due to a theft (which explains why the code on the card is wrong)... so now it's in some guy's files.... great.
