Delta to Concert I conversion

My Radio Delta CC (1997 A4) wants to have a vacation, so I had to get the concert I.
I looked the posts, and I see i have to bring the K-line to what it used to be a (+) on pin 3.
However, I am looking at wiring diagrams and I see the pin5 with (+) to the antenna amplifier is different. In 1997 Delta CC is a clear wire, while on concert it seems to push the 12 V directly through the coax. Not sure Delta pushes 12 to the Coax....
Are the antenna amplifiers different between 1997 and 1998?

The K-Line. Can I get the K line directly from the diagnostic cable? Easier to get from there...
Is this K line like a single wire (shared bus) shared by all diagnostic equipments?

Whatever, it's easier for the 97 as the OBDII connector is by the steering wheel. On the 96 it's between the rear seats. The closest place is the climate control below the stereo. Pin 7 on the OBDII connector.

the swap procedure went fine, however, i have a feeling the sound with the concert(panasonic) is worse than the Blaupunkt - Delta.
It makes the sound a bit "dry muffled" with the speakers getting the subwoofers low freq enhacements ... with max trebble and no bass setting).
As if the speakers would not match the units ..... And i do not get the same crystal (imagine a spoon hitting a crystal glass type of sound that i had with the blaupunkt....)
Is there any other setting/or missmatch that i need to fix? Or the concert unit is not fixed properly by Audi? - as this is a factory remanufactured unit...

the coding is 00201.
Regular 1997 audi. Without any Bose or CD changer option.
It has the 4 speakers on the front, and the external amplified rear speakers (line out from the radio unit).
In fact, it came coded like that. But I checked, and the settings seemed fine, so I did not recode it.....
I mean, it is working OK, but i feel Blaupunkt setup did a better job....
