I am having a problem with my delta radio (97 A4 TQM)not unlocking. It all started when I killed my battery over the winter (dead for days if not weeks, bad idea) The radio locked me out after I charged the battery. I have the code and it is the correct one. (checked multiple dealers to make sure) The radio will not accept it. I have tried many times (12+) with no luck.

I know about the whole let it sit for an hour and re-enter it stuff. I have done that. No luck. The dealer tells me I need to replace the radio. It can't be fixed?? (according to the dealer NO!) This is bogus.

I have tried to leave it disconnected for a week and that did not work either.

Any help is appreciated, I am getting tired of silent road trips!

and it is the correct code, then you need a new radio. The dealer should be able to get the correct code for the S/N. Don't go by the card that came in the owner's packet.

Here's just a shot in the dark,but here goes ....Can a Vag-Com be of any assistance ?

I have cross-checked it at two different dealers. It is the correct code. The one in the book was wrong. I have used this code in the past and it has worked. Just not this time. Still lost...
