Default did any 1.8t's ever have a badge that said

'turbo' instead of '1.8t'? not in the porsche font either. this was in the same font that 'quattro' is in, but bigger. FWIW, it was pre-99.5. saw one yesterday that had nilch for mods but had that badge, and didn't know if someone added it or what. i believe all letters were lower-case.

hmmm. weird. it replaced the '1.8t' badge, in the exact same spot. wish i had my camera. dam.

nah, it was lower case letters, same font as our quattro badges, just bigger...

Older audi turbos had the word turbo on them.. possibly from an old school turbo?

Default That would have been a different font though, the newer font came with the 100/200 era cars...

I don't think the 200 actually said turbo on it, but I could be wrong.

Default I have seen several seemingly stock A4's with bizarre badging all over the place.

(that was a weird sentence.)

1.8 badge on ther wrong side, A4 over the 1.8T, etc. These are on cars that are bone stock otherwise, and I have the feeling were in accidents involving damage to the trunk lid.
