First of all, the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times seemed about half a second to a full second slow. Second, the dynos posted looked different from ones on the chip manufacturers websites. I zipped through it, so maybe I missed something. Thanks.

in a different test in the same issue, and the stock 1.8T was faster? This leads me to believe they don't know their head from their rear end over there. I drove a stock 1.8T Jetta and it "felt" like a 7-7.5 second 0-60...With a chip that thing HAS to fly! At least 6.5. I mean 7.9 seconds for the APR chip in a Beetle? A stock '01 A4 is faster than that at 7.7 according to Audi's site. Something is wrong with European Car's testing. I mean those here that have chipped A4's should be able to see that right?

As for the dyno tests, the ones in the magazine are wheel dyno's, while the chip makers are flywheel dyno's.

much faster with the chip and exhaust. THe dynos still seem on the low side. I thought that the Audi's lost very little power through the transmssion.<p>rakha
