so this is the thing, I made a post about a smelly AC and some nice gentlemen suggested that I spray a little alcohol into the air intake. I was fully prepared to do this when my father came and stuck a hose in there, he then proceded to dump in some bleach (apparently this is how you would have fixed the problem in the 80's or something...)When I went to back out of my driveway, all the bleachy water dumped onto the passenger side floor, so now I am left with bleach stains all over my formerly perfect carpet.

does anyone know id Audi or someone may sell some colored dye so I could fix this problem or al least cover it up a little bit.

ALSO, do you guys think that hte bleach/water will ever fully drain out of the system?

WOW, I can't say I've heard of that method myself, no idea about the hvac system, though I do know several places sell spray on color dyes for automotive aphulstory.

Since its bleach, I would want all traces of it removed.

yes, it will drain out the evaporator drain, don't turn you fan on full until its dried out or you might spray bleach all over the place. I

You know whats really sad it there is a technical bulletin on this, and the dealer would have done the repair with the correct chemical for free if your still under waranty.
They spray in a can of antibacterial spray that
coats the evaporator and stops the mould from
growing on it.
