<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/100581/no_tensioner.jpg"></center><p>The water pump was leaking last week, so I figured I'd dive into it over the weekend. I didn't know if the TB had been done, so at 103K miles it couldn't hurt either way.

I printed out the tech article by Andy &amp; BSK &amp; followed it step by step. (Great article by the way)

Things went great until I got the TB covers off &amp; it looked a little different than I expected. It seems the TB had been done, but the tensioner was completely gone! (see the pic) Any body ever seen this before?

I went ahead &amp; installed the new style tensioner &amp; related parts. The re-assembly went pretty smooth (although I forgot the put the A/C belt back on, &amp; had to do it from underneath).

Started about 2:00 Friday afternoon &amp; pulled it out of the garage @ 8:05pm, just over 6 hours for the total job. The only help I enlisted was the wife to hold one end of the bumper while I pulled the other side off.

thanks for the offer, but this week is packed, and this weekend im heading to philly for a bbq with the inlaws.

after this week ill definately take you up on the offer, especially in the later rounds
