Default Did you know... (Lots of stereo stuff)

The amp that drives the rear non-bose speakers has five componants on it. Count them. Three are three capacitors, one inductor, and a mosfet chip the size of my thumbnail.
RE: Wire to the battery.
Okay okay okay... I ran the wire to the battery. It wasn't that hard.
Rear amp connector has wires for:
- power (always on)
- Power (on w/ ignition OR Radio)
- Ground
- Left line-level input
- Right line-level input
- Common line-level input
- Right Rear speaker + output
- Right rear speaker - output
David

David thanks for the info. Did you take out the speaker to access the wires? And which hole in the firewall did you use for the power wire? Thanks

Default DA da da...

Yes, I removed the speaker to have better access to the wires. I ran the power wire through the rubber going into the ECU box. I already use the nipple for my boost gauge so I just punched another hole. Easiest way IMHO.
David
