Default Difference between Santorin and Europa Blue?

Having not seen a Santorin blue-colored car, what is the difference between that and the Europa Blue on my 96? Is there any? It looks like the Santorin is a lighter blue......

Santorin's a rich, iridescent blue. Depending on the light, it does look a bit lighter than Europa. But the big difference, IMO, is the iridescence.

The Europa Blue looks to have a bit more red in it.
The Santorin is elegant and the Europa is sporty or perhaps loud.
Default Ummm, which is which?

Looks like the car on the right has 98+ taillights, so I'd guess that that is the Santorin Blue and the other one is Europa blue (looks black on my monitor).
Make sure you take your pictures with both cars under equal lighting, preferably well-lit.
Europa more purple, Santorin more 'bright'

Default Santorin has been labeled as "Pearlesent'.

From my own comparisons, the Santorin (which I have and love) reflects color differently depending on sunlight angle. Kind of a cheesy sentance, but basically at different angles it will look brighter or darker or maybe even have an ever so slight purple tint. The color is fantastic. When I ordered my 98.5, I ordered it blind because Audi was changing from Europa to Santorin. When I saw the car, I knew I had made the right choice.
Every time, while I'm wasing my car, people come by and compliment the color more than the car itself. It just grabs your eyes and won't let go.
Hope this wasn't to mushy :-)
Amro
