What are the differences between the two engines other than the obvious difference with the heads? For example would I be able to just swap a 30v head onto my 12v block? Thanks.

Durch die 90° -V- Konstruktion wird eine geringe
Bauhöhe erzielt. Das lässt zwischen den Zylinderbänken
gleichzeitig viel Raum zur Anbringung des Schalt-
saugrohres. Der Motor hat den gleichen Zylinderwinkel
wie der V8 Motor.
Ohhh, sorry. That was meant for somehting else..But it looks cool.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
No, yould have to swap the engine management system as well which would cost some bucks..
90% of the electronics in the 12v are made by Hitatchi and the 30v are from Bosch.

We happened to have a pair of 30v heads, and were thinking about putting them on his 12v. The oil passages do not line up correctly...specifically, 2 passages near the back of the head won't line up.
