Default Diverter Valve Question

I have a APR stage one (chip only) on my 1.8t. Do I need a Forge diverter valve at $135 or will the valve made for the "TT" work just as well at $30?

Default The TT valve should work OK.

Since it's only $30, I'd give it a try. If it ends up failing (rather small risk me thinks), then move on to Forge.

I have been running my stock DV for 2+ years with no indication of failure.

Default stick with plastic until you go to stage 3...

or if you go to stage 2 and are aggressive on-off throttle.

Default 2nd. I've been using my TT diverter for over 60,000 APR chipped miles. Others will disagree

what I've seen, it's hit or miss. Low risk, no doubt.

Default get an evo motorsports, no plastic, no rubber, just billet aluminum....

grease it now and then (i do like 2 maybe 3 times a year) and itll last forever...oh yeah it has 2 lil o-rings too, ive had mine for 2 years and they ahve yet to seem to be worn to the point of needing replacement.

Default blah, the plastic ones are crap. Go with quality.

And many of you don't even realize when the DV is failing. The metal ones kick *** over those crappy plastic ones and you all know it. I laugh at you guys who love that TT valve, piece of unreliable dung. =-)

Laugh all you want. My car's boost and performance has been unaffected by it for years now
