No since that will not give you a vac reading and you would see well over
the boost readings your gauge can handle. That would give you a reading of what the turbo is putting out all the time. You want to put the boost gauge off of the intake manifold so you read it in there only.

An electronic boost controller takes the place of the N75 valve.
The best one I found is the HKS EV4 which will learn the boost curve of the turbo. But these should only be used with a larger turbo that can hold a set boost to redline.
