Do the cops in Austin/Round Rock use X band radar at all?

I have never seen it and I have only seen it once in Texas (small down). Have seen a few lasers out there.

They use K and Ka in Austin. I never did run into any X band radar in Austin for the 2 years I had my radar detector down there. Then someone decided to borrow it one night. I never did re-tint that window...<p>Warren

Rob, X band is a very old band, in SA we use KA w/some older units using K, no laser

Yeah I know it is ancient, but I have run into Illinois Hwy patrol that still use it...just wanted to know because I want to disable X band detection on the V1
