When I inspected it last night, I found one of the bolts that secure the bearing bracket (Bentleys calls it a strut mounting bracket) was loose. When I went to tighten it to spec, it would just keep spinning. Looks like it was over torqued or crossthreaded. Luckily, it was the outboard bolt and was easy to get to.
Looks like I am going to go by a salvage yard thid morning and find a bracket from a Passat. I have never seen an Audi in a salvage yard around here. If I cannot find one, I can always go to the stealer and get one.

I R&R'ed the CA's in April, 7k miles ago. I put antisieze on everything, so it is not going to be too bad. Just sucks having to do it in this heat.
