Do you have to re-program the remote when the battery dies?

no.. just stick in a new battery..

that's like asking, "if i shut down my computer, do i have to reinstall everything when i turn it on again"

:P

Default I tried putting the batteries in every which way I can think of, but it will not work. I guess the

remote is broken

Default Put a flat screwdriver or something that won't scratch up the cover under the back side lip.

and press up towards the key top. The remote slides into two pieces. Then pop open the bottom section (pops open like a lid) using the screw driver. Then you will see the TWO batteries.


Smaller the screw driver the better (~4mm wide head).

Default I had to reprogram mine

Mine didn't work after I changed the batteries either. I had to reprogram mine by:
1) locking the car
2)holding down any of the (2) buttons for 3 seconds
3)Unlock the car with the key
The remote should now work. It is in the manual.

I know that much..and I already got new batteries, but I fogot how they were sitting

yeah... but i went stupid for a bit and now I don't have door handles or locks to put my key in
