Default Do you think I could fit a full-size mattress in/above my Avant?

I need to move this Friday, and was wondering whether anyone had done this before. The mattress is about 4'6" wide...

Yes, I forgot that it might not fit and that i might need to get a small moving truck/van, but it's too late now. I called around and they are not available..

Default strap it to the roof rails.. that way you can say you have actually used them! :-)

Lord knows I have not, other than as a grab handle in the winter after nearly falling out of the car...

Default i fit a twin mattress in my Volvo, including the box spring and head board.

It was a tight fit. Just tie it to the roof and use your arm to hold it down.

Default If you need a hand,

I can grab a bigger vehicle and help you move (I am local). Let me know if it doesn't fit in the avant.
