Default does anybody find the cruise control to be "flaky"?

I've used the cruise for two trips since we bought the car last month. It takes a holds a speed just fine but the decell, accell and resume functions are glitchy at best. User Error? or **** design?

Default I've had mine replaced at least 3 times under warranty.

It doesn't work now, but I think the current "problem" is because I'm chipped, and IIRC, you can't have CC with a chip.

you can't? I thought APR told me it doesn't interfere with the CC.

Default It is most likely the switch. It is a common problem with VW/Audi CC. Get the switch changed...

... the switch is on the turn signal stalk and this is also in the same module as the headlight switch. It won't be a cheap part.

Default ? Que?

Sorry, I just don't know what you are talking about. I have a 99.5 and there weren't any EMCS options or anything when I bought my chip, so I'm kinda confused.

looks like $117 2 the partsbin. Not too bad really but I think I'll just live with it till it quits

Default Hmm...

Maybe I made that up. Or maybe it wasn't available when I bought my chip, because it's been 2.5 years now, I think. I can't remember. I should probably call and ask, but I'm just too lazy :/

Default With a VAG tool, you need to go the the engine control module...

... and then go the the login option and enter a certain code. This new code will enable the CC for your car. You can do this with a VAG-com. As for what code to put in, I can find it somewhere if you cant.
