does anybody find the cruise control to be "flaky"?

I know that APR chips for the GTIs.....

use the cruise control stalk for switchable program (ie. stock or chipped mode) if you order that option but the cruise control still works.

Naw .. I had a APR chip on my 99.5 and the CC always worked fine. Works fine w/ the EMCS on my Stage

III (momentary switch for the nDBW not the CC style for the DBW) as well.

Mine just shuts off when you try to accell and resume rarely works. You can hear a relay

going nuts under the dash so I just gave up on it. Also it seems to take five or six seconds for the thing to take the set speed. Once it's set it works fine as long as I leave it alone. But I always have to reset it after tapping the brake. Resume just doesn't want to work right.
