Default does anybody know the flashpoint of conventional oil

I went onto the mobil 1 web site to try and figure out what viscosity oil I wanted to get and noticed the flshpoint numbers listed. I was just curious to know the difference. IMO the main reason to use a synthetic oil is because of the extreme temps in a turbocharged engine.

Default This doc. lists some of the info you're looking for -->

Some additional reasons to use synthetic:

- it flows more easily when cold (at engine startup), so that your engine gets the much needed lubrication faster. BTW, there are no 0w grade mineral oils in the US.

- it stays "clean" longer, so you can extend your oil change intervals.

- it does not coke in the turbo cooling lines as easily as mineral oil (so I've heard).

http://www.mr2.com/TEXT/OilFacts.txt</a

Default good links, thanks. I also went and looked right a the Quaker state sight

they had specs as well. Since Quaker State is considered total crap I figured that would be a good comparison
