Does anybody know a solution that can take off the orange on the turn signal bulbs?

unstick
if goo gone or paint thinner dont work a product called Un-stick made by Bienfang should do it. if you cant find it at the hardware store try an art supply store. and of course take normal precautions when using petroleum distilates.

get some clear bulbs, I think they were $3 at wal-mart (BWW)
I drive with my headlights and fogs on at all times and frequent many police (state and local cops) with zero issues. The bulbs are clear when off and yellowish white when on. The side corner light on the fender still flashes orange when signaling so its close enough.

I know of a couple other Audi guys who do this and have had no issues. I just wish I swapped the bulbs earlier as it looks much more clean this way.
