Does anyone ever wonder how some of these cars get into magazines like Max Power?

There are some amazing cars put then there are cars they are low as death and dont look hot. Most of the people on this forum have nicer cars then those and they arent being interviewed.

They look for things that "pop" colors, mods, etc. And for some reason they say they don't like publishing dark colored cars.

...just a grocery list of mods. You never find out if there was real improvement or if it was all just for looks. I prefer cars that look like they are driven by adults. I also prefer magazines that hire actual journalists, not kids who are trying hard to incorporate street lingo into their writing.

They'll come right up to you and give you the details, and in my case the shoot occurred right after the show. It's a great feeling to see your car in print - I bought 10 copies of the magazine and had one mounted on my wall with a plaque etc etc. Good luck if you're going to try!

I'll agree on the quality of some mag's out there.
Car Magazine was and still is my favorite.
Some of the others are still interesting to check out though
