Default Does anyone have 17x8.5" wheels with 225/45/17 or 225/40/17 tires?

I am going to be getting some 17x8.5" wheels. I don't know if I want to get 215, or 225 rubber. 225 is the widest I want to go. I am thinking 215/45/17 rubber, so I have the stretched look.

is anyone running 17x8.5 wheels? if so can I see pics?

this will get more people looking:

i think that the 225's on an 8.5" wheel will give you the look you're after.

actually, now that I think about it, I think I will do 215/45/17 front, and 245/40/17 rear!

Not sure different rolling diameters is the best thing you can do for quattro.

Actually, it's an understeer thing, but if all you're into is looks...go for it.
