woke up this morning to see that someone tried to rip the rear lip spoiler off of my 04 a4 ultrasport and cracked it in half. i tried to get one from the dealer however they keep telling me that there is only one wing and thats the one that comes on the s4. that is not the case, the ultrasport has a diff wing. found one dealer that knew what i was talking about turns out i have to order it from germany. $460 bucks. does anyone know a dearler that has one in stock or does anyone here work at an audi dealer? if so it would help me out. thanks

any parts person up to snuff will know that or be able to figure it out.

Odds are that the cheapest way to replace it is getting one from spoilerdepot.

Getting one from the dealer might take one of 3 routes.

1. its a drop ship item... aka it comes from foam molding specialties here in the US and is painted by them.. like the votex spoiler in the collection catalogue. Takes a couple of weeks iirc.... its not quick at all.

2. it is at the depot 410 in this case.. or maybe 422.. wherever it doesnt matter its still gonna take 2-3 days to get.. and if the part number ends in GRU its primered... hell I doubt its even primered. Then figure a day or two at a body shop to get the thing painted. It might also be backordred to the NARDC.. or national warehouse... here in NJ btw.. that adds 1 day to shipment.

3. its backordered to hell... I mean germany... in which case its gonna cost you $20 or so on top of the already sky high price to get one red-ordered from germany... which can take 5-10 business days and then it needs to go get painted... agian a couple days at a body shop.

Some dealerships keep the spoilers in stock... the only one that I've ever seen in stock is the votex one.. which is not the same as the S4 or as the ultrasport iirc. the VOTEX one has a crappy indentation in the middle of it that faces downwards but is visible from behind the car... looks like **** imo... and should have been filled to get it clean looking.

hopefully soon ill be workin at the new Audi dealer in Danbury CT. Doing parts. Prob won't help you now, but in the future for all you audi owners. josh

yup all the dealers have the votex one. in my opinion it looks like ****. does spoiler depot have the ultrasport one? i could not find it on the site. thanks for the help. real pissed about this. 800bucks should be going to nice break upgrade not a wing
