Sorry no pic,but is that the factory TRE press? It looks like others I've used.

yes it is something TRE related but i still dont know how to use it or what exactly it does

Default I would guess that the half round wedge is jammed between the tie-rod and the

steering arm. Then the bolt is turned to drive out the pin from the top. You would probably have to turn the entire tool 180 degrees from the picture to use it on the car.

Default Ding,Ding...winna ,winna ...sorry I was going to post response ,but

I had to restart computer after some updates ran.The cupped end goes just over the dust boot,the tool then is used to press out the stud end of TRE from suspension. Some people completely remove the TRE nut but I prefer(is the tool will clear it) to back it off several threads,then press it out. When done that way ,things don't go flying around,when it comes apart.I've used like ones on other cars, only this one looks very small.

I am guessing it's like the VAG Tie rod end tool i have to push out the tie rod end..
