I drive agressively with my Born slip-ons. Wide foot and flat, stable base. Works very well for heel and toe.

LOL...

I think it makes the most dif when you are jsut learning...I can heel toe in any shoe in most cars I drive now. I actually find myself late braking to allow a good smooth heel toe DS in daily traffic here in the city out of habit. With the covers and the insulation removed from my engine bay the SC whine gets stares at almost every intersection.
