Does anyone have the UCC short shifter for the 96-98?? Thoughts on them or

compared to the Neuspeed? I know they are a bit more, but are they worth it? A local shop says he sells 'em to all of the local S4's, and they love em.

general consensus is. Neuspeed and Strat are better then UUC. Also checkout B&M

Neuspeed lowers the total shifter height...not as "flickable" for those who rest arm on the armrest

Strat is the bomb; just installed mine last week. Slop is noticeable though . . .

One gripe: slop from the linkage to the transmission is more noticable. I'm not sure why. I just took a look today to make sure the play wasn't coming from the ball & cup of the shifter - and it's not. There's no movement there. The slop is clearly coming from something well beneath shifter assembly. I'm sure it was there all along, but I just didn't notice it because stock shifts are so L-O-N-G.
