Default Does anyone know the diff between Passat 4motion and A4 quattro? Help, please...
my boss wants to know if it's worth spending the xtra for an A4.

I believe the 4motion is the same as the a4 Quattro. Its all Haldex. Somebody want to verify?

Default The Body Style. If he likes the Passat, then thats his choice..
4 Motion = Quattro. Same system.

they're the same, but certainly aren't haldex. That's a TT/Golf 4motion system. A4/Passat are Torsen center diffs.

Default just the name is different. if he wants the space over the sporty-ness of an A4, go for the Passat.
Warranties are a little different as well between the A4 & Passat. Even the Passats have different warranties between 01.5 and 02.

Haldex is what is in the TT, and it is not the same as Torsen
