Does anyone know the ohm rating on the rear non-bose stock speakers in a 99.5 A4? (nm)

sound like crap if you put real power to them. Since you have spent the money on an amp, real speakers would be a good idea.

people are saying that the stock speakers actuall sound pretty darn good when they are powered with an outside amp.

the little amp that powers them. Sounded strange to me so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Source is optional of course, as many of the new amps work well with speaker level input.
Unless all you want is sub.. Like me. I added a small amp and sub to the stock system, which is pretty nice.. I changed the front door speakers for Boston Accoustics Rallyes, kept the rear self powered ones for now, and stock source.

The amp under there is just way to small to drive one or two Ohm speakers. Get a volt meter and check them yourself. That won't give you an exact reading but it will be close enough for what you are after. If indeed they are one or two Ohm then junk them and buy something else.
