Default Does anyone know the redline of an APR 3.0 chip? It seems like it is not even close to the

7000 rpm redline on other chips. When I tried to take advantage of the hard pull in 1st gear, the rev limiter kicked in at only around 6400 rpm's. This feels too soon, as the stock redline is around 6100 rpm. APR claims they move the redline higher, but it does not seem so. I would like to shift at around 6500 rpm at the tracks, but because of APR's low redline setting, I have to shift as like I was driving a stock A4. How can this be?

Default redline and rev limiter are two different things

also, no, you dont wanna shift at 6,500 at the tracks. . .well, unless you enjoy slow timeslips

Could it be the tach isn't keeping up with the accelerating engine? Just a guess.

Default I have a 5 spd with a APR 3.0 chip and a lot of times at

the dragstrip, I keep hitting the rev limiter in 1st gear at 6400 rpms. For a chipped A4, this seems a little low to set the rev limiter.

Get the newest software and it will solve that rev limiter problem.
