Default Does anyone know what the Power Supply Terminal is and its local

In my previous post regarding the same topic everyone told me not to worry, but since I have a few strange problems with the car it wouldnt hurt to reveal this CODES origin.
Is it the alternator or something related? I keep getting Power Supply Terminal 30 Low Voltage right after the car goes into is usual transe.
Example:
Warm start idle fluxuation, press the accelerator and the car will stumble, feed it some BOOST it goes away. Holding the key longer to start the car when its hot, last winter the car would start and immediatley after die then it would not start again for 2-3 minutes.

I have never been able the pinpoint this problem and think this Power Suppy Terminal may be the cause, any ideas on what this PSTerminal and its location?

10/98 A4 1.8t AEB

Thanks,
Sean

Default The PST is not your issue.

I dunno where it is, but it is simply a voltage sensing post.

Last tune up? Chipped? HAI? G/S MAF reading? Vacuum leaks? Throttle body clean?

Default Possibly... starter?

I would trace your battery cables and make sure you have clean grounds. Check the cables at the connection points to the starter and alternator as well. Also, check voltage between each battery cable and its corresponding battery post. Do a search for a post on this forum that describes, in-depth, how to check for parasitic current draw. Try running seafoam through both the vaccuum system and the gas tank. Let us know!

Default the pst code means that the ecu power has been disconnected....

try a can of fuel injector cleaner first if you have no other codes. did you just start getting 10% ethanol gas?

Default Been there done all that except the TBody cleaning but why the

t-body if that were the case the car would always run crappy no? Its only on warm starts the problem happens.

Default The car has an aftermarket sound system that I installed factory head

unit but 2 Rocksford amps, I have never suffered from a dead battery but maybe there is an association. Also the + terminal was upgraded to accomodate the extra wiring and I didnt get a cheap one either.

Default I have had this problem from the day I drove it home from the dealer

that was 3 years ago. I got an O2 bank 1 code the other day but it hasnt surfaced since.
Just about every sensor was replaced one time or another trying to solve this problem.
