Default Starter doesn't have a fuse, it is the heavy gauge cable that comes off the battery...

directly to the starter.

Default thank you. I just got under the car and saw that cable. I gave the starter a couple wacks..

and still no dice. I'm almost sure now the starter is toast. You think it would be a bad idea to pick up a starter from Pepboys or Autozone?

Default You could try putting power directly to the solinoid to see if that is the problem...

There is the heavy gauge wire on the starter motor and a light gauge wire to activate the solinoid. When the solinoid receives power on the light gauge wire it "turns-on" and gives the starter its power. You can check it by powering up the light gauge wire. This is a quick way to make sure that nothing else is cutting out the starter motor, like clutch switch or neutral switch. Note that the car may turn over and if in gear launch forward. The ignition does not have to be in the on position.
