Does anyone notice vibration in the floor/pedals of the 1.8T?

Sorry if this is repetitive, as I have posted this question before.
I took delivery of my 1.8T manual transmission about 5 weeks ago, and since that time I've noticed vibration that is transmitted through the pedals, floor and even seat.
There are really two different vibrations felt.
1. The first is during moderate to hard acceleration, and I can feel it through the pedals, floor and seats.
2. The second vibration is a constant one, felt through the floor and pedals at highway speeds (normally above 60 mph.)
The vibration at highway speed isn't horrible (and it's not imbalanced tires, because it disappears if I put the car in neutral and let it coast at 65/70mph), but it is annoying. It's something that I didn't notice on any test drive (although I test drove a different 1.8T).
Does everyone have one or both of these types of vibrations. I'm trying to figure out if it's the nature of of the 1.8T manual that cannot be changed, or if there is something I can do to smooth this out. I love the car, except for this aspect. I guess I expect a 30K car to be pretty smooth on the highway, and I'm disappointed that mine is not. Perhaps I should have gone of the 2.8 V6, but it's too late now. At this point, I'm trying to determine whether this is normal, and if not, what might be causing it.
If you don't have this transmission of vibration, let me know. If you do have it, any insight into getting rid of it would be great.
Thanks.

there is vibrations transmitted through the pedals and also the shifter due to the high rpm at which the 1.8T cruises.
The vibrations are pretty prominent at 80mph when the engine is at 3600rpm or so.

it's the first point at which I can tell it's there. 65-70 is where it's really first noticeable, and in fact it seems to be about the worst there. If I take it up to 80 or 85, it doesn't seem to be as bad. I guess I just have expectations that arent' realistic for the car that I have. A 1.8T isn't going to be as silky smooth as a 2.8 V6. However, I didn't really expect to feel vibrations once I hit highway speeds.
Just curious, do the vibrations seem to reduce with more miles on the car, or perhaps after the first oil change?
TIA

less noticeable (or probably I have gotten used to them).
And as you mentioned the 1.8T has some sort of resonant speed range where it has the vibrations but goes away at higher or lower speeds.
The 2.8 is nice but just didn't feel as fast when I test drove, so I think some comprise has to be made for the fun-factor (just my opinion though).
