Default Yup, its does. I usually move the front passenger seat forward though...

So my niece can't kick the seat in front of her and get it all dirty. (onyx interior)

Default Yes, but you'll be cleaning scuff marks off the back of the front seat.

It's a tight fit, and as plug1 mentions, the front seat will need to be moved forward for an infant seat, or a larger child needing the legroom in the rear. Anyway, junior will be kicking the back of the front seat pretty regularly, and you'll be cleaning scuff marks and dirt just as often. It's a pain, and if you're ****, it'll drive you nuts.

Default I found that making my niece take off her shoes before she got in the car helped.

I just lay them on the mats below...and when she kicks the seat with her socks, it doesnt leave a mess for me to clean up. Other than that...the issue of having enough space is not an issue at all, there is plenty of room.

Default How old is she?

Not trying to get too personal. :-) My buddy has a 4 1/2 year old, and I've eyeballed the car seat he uses. Seems like trying to squeeze him in my back seat with my buddy in the front seat would be a little uncomfortable for at least one of them (and I drive with my seat all the way back, so junior is not sitting behind me!). I think he'll be moving to a booster soon anyway...anybody know if those would open up a little room back there?

Default I think she's about 4, maybe 4.5...

She uses one of those bigger kids seats, with just the seat belt...not the whole restraint thing that comes over the top of her. I usually move the seat up just a little...but its really not even needed...she has plenty of room.
