Does GIAC make a race chip for non-DBW 1.8 A4s?

or if you're in northern california call dynospot racing..
they work close with GIAC and are distributors of their products so they can answer a lof of questions you may have about this setup

Try Dynospotracing, they always reply quickly
Before I bought my GIAC chip i called a lot of places but Dick was willing to explain things to me and talked about the software support that they have. I drove up from LA to San Fran to get my chip from him.

Only one person has the race chip for the non dbw 1.8t A4, that would be juan since I got the chip
for him.It does not run more boost just more adv timing for the race fuel. The car pulls like hard all the way up the gears. No real big kick though since it only runs 1 bar of boost. I am trying to get GIAC to add more boost to it. Maybe 1.2 bar of boost since the non dbw cars use a smaller turbo then the dbw cars like mine.

That's all I want - more timing
since I'm running water injection, I can run more timing.
My turbo has 55K chipped miles on it (80k total) I'd hate to blow it running more boost, although I'm sure it could run at least +1psi more, easily.
Does Juan have more? Any way I can get one?

Well I will see what I can do. Juan gets his chips from me so he only has 2 chips for his
Audi at this time, one is a street chip with a little more boost and a race chip that runs alot of timing and just normal boost. He also has a new 2001.5 VW golf that now has a GIAC street chip and a full out drag chip that is something like my drag chip, except that my chip runs more timing because I have a FMIC on my car. We will be testing the new VW drag chip tomorrow when we go to Carlsbad to do some testing. I am hoping to get another shot at running the new PES kit that is on Garretts car, now that he has tuned it for more power running pump gas.
