Default Does this sound like a bad CV joint?

Almost every time when making a right turn from a stop I will get a clicking sound from the front passenger's side of the car. The harder I accelerate the worse the sound gets. If it is the CV joint, how tough of a job is it to replace? Thanks!

Default Sure does. Check the tech section for a couple of articles on this subject..

Notably, <a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel27.shtml">this one</a> and <a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc37.shtml">this one</a>

Do you think it's worthwhile just to replace the entire axle assembly?

Those are rebuilts, but I'm sure they are fine. I say go for it, if you want.
