it happens. Happened to me. It's a pita to get it popped back in but it can be done. Remove the fixture and shake it around. If you see the whole internal reflector bouncing around in there, then it is popped out.

you mean that shipping plug thing where the autoleveler would go? popped out?

The leveling screws each have a ball on the opposite end. That ball sits in a socket that is part of the internal reflector assembly. If you over tighten the adjusting screw in the pulling direction then the ball can pop out of the socket. At that point, you can just keep turning the screw until you are blue in the face and it won't change the level.
