I've searched the archives, and found conflicting information on whether this combination would work. I would like to mount a bike rack from a 1996 VW Jetta Trek on my 2K Audi A4 2.8. Is this possible? Please respond with definitive answer if you've used this rack or if you've used an identical one.

I have read in the archives that the Audi rack is exactly the same as the Trek rack, and I've also read that the Trek rack won't fit. Which is true?

The CROSS BARS will not fit.
The BIKE CARRIER will.
