plyers are all we need.

I've never done the brakes on this car yet. Should I stop by Autozone tonight and rent the tool? Just to have it if need be?

Default In some cases a needle nose will work. If you the piston has been fully extended

I dont think a needle nose pliers will help you might
slip and rip the boot.

Default And your friend wants to use needle nose pliers for that?

Hmmmm. I had the cube tool, and to be honest I wish I had the proper piston-pusher tool. It was awkward to hold the caliper in one hand and then to push as hard as you can while turning the ratchet in the other.....then again, I'm weak. Gjaime picked it up and took care of it for me....he made it look easy ;-) I say just rent it if you can, might save you some effort. Good luck
