Default Alex I'm on the fence right now

I am close to pulling the trigger, but I'm curious about the rebuild policy on shocks. I live in New England and our roads and winters are tough. I would think that the shocks would need a rebuild say every 2-3 years. Do you offer this serice? I'm not talking about warranty repair/replacement, but just a paid rebuild service for those who want to keep their setup tip top. Thanks.

Default Do you guys sell front upper spring perches for the tracksport kit?

I am not to keen on cutting up the rubber one that is in there.

Default Warranty on damper is lifetime to original purchaser...

and for rebuilding we can send them out to Koni to be rebuilt. Generally I tell folks that the time to rebuild is when the seals begin to leak. However we can pass your dampers along to Koni and the charge is around $200 per unit, new units are $240 up front and $270 in the rear. Don't 100% quote me on that though, it is around that from my memory and I would need to have someone check with Koni. If the damper is complete loose and blown it will likely get covered under the lifetime warranty.

Default With a bench grinder takes about 2-3 minutes per side...

having just done this myself. You zip off the nub and away you go or use a knife and trim the nub away. Most folks are less keen on drilling the chassis to gain access to the adjuster, however if done per instructions it comes out very well.

If you are very wary of modifying this piece I could order up factory new units from the local dealership and have the tech trim them down for your kit at the cost of the parts and a small amount of labor.

Default Do the dampers come pre set, as far as rebound goes, to what spring rates are ordered?

I know there is some user preference in this, but I was wondering if you set them? I know it is very important to have the rebound matched to the spring rates as well as the compression. For someone like myself who is not trained in such suspension sorting issues, it would be helpful to have it all set up right out of the box.

I may have already asked you this, but what spring rates would you recommend for; A daily driver, but doesn't mind a firm ride, who also autocrosses once a month, and does a track day once a year or so. I was thinking 500f 600r or 500f 700r.

Thanks for all of your help. Sorry if I am asking so many questions, but I am a 20 year old trying to mod on a tight budget, so I gotta do all the research I can.

Default I've had little experience with the Stasis stuff

but I've ridden in a 550/650 car with stock sport package sways and the thing was a go cart. A friend of mine has 550/700 with the Neuspeed bar on stiff but I haven't driven or ridden in his car. I'm thinking 600/700 for me if I were to go this route.

Default We preset the height and rebound settings on the damper before shipping...

on each order that head out, this includes all of our adjustable kits from Street Sport up to Motor Sport.

A good compromise on spring rate for your A4 would be a 525/625. This will definitely firm up the ride but at the same time not give a ridiculously firm ride.

Cheers,
