Default How was the dive and squat when you rode in that car?

I hate dive and squat, and other associated body roll! Did the car seem well dompened and not bouncy? Any impressions will help me out. Thanks.

Default it was great compared to what I am used to

it was a stage 3 car so it had good power. I was very impressed. I did things I couldn't do in my car.

Default OK, I actually just rode in a B5 S4 with the tracksports and I have made up my mind...

That I am going to go with the PSS9s. Sorry Alex. Thanks for the help though. I just like the feel of the PSS9s better. They are part of the less spring more dampning theory, and I am a fan. The ride feels more controlled and lighter to me.

Default really?

both cars were S4's? What spring rates on the Stasis car? I'm actually going to experiment with Teins most likely. I'll probably start with something like 670/670 and then perhaps bring the front spring rates down a little. We'll see.

Default The one with the PSS9s was an A4.

Good luck with the tein stuff. There isn't a whole lot of info out there about them. I know they are big in the import tuner scene and trying to get into the european market. I can't wait to get my PSS9s in!

Default so the body roll was gone with the PSS9?

I'm not satisfied with the Vogland's in that department. They aren't bad, they just aren't as agressive as some others and that's what I really want.

As for Tein, a buddy of mine has them in his DSM and the car is FLAT in the turns. They use Eibach springs and I am going to get custom spring rates and the 16 way adjustable shocks. I can't wait.

Default I prefer the PSS9s. 90% of my driving is on the street.

Your tein setup should perform really well. If you want a real performer for the track I would call Alex at stasis and talk about the 600/700 combo. It was more for the track than the PSS9s. Then you can swap spring rates until you find what you like best, similar to what you are doing with the teins I suppose.

Default gotcha

Stasis is still a backup if I can't get what I want from Tein. The Tein stuff should come in way cheaper. I'll have to be the pioneer to see if it's as good. The drawback will be that I have to buy the springs Teins specs then my preferred springs after. Tein rates the shocks by how much spring it can handle in reference to the rate the coilover comes with. so for the A4 670 +/- 110 front and 560 +/- 110 in the rear. Good luck with the Bilsteins.
