I just bought a 1996 a4 and if I am reading the book correctly, I should be able to lock all the doors by locking the driver door with the key. Also, I should be able to unlock all the doors if I turn the key to the left(counterclockwise) two times. All I can do with the key is lock and unlock the drivers door only. If I use the trunk lid lock, I can perform all the functions properly. It doesn't seem to work on the passenger side door either. Has anyone had this problem or know where to start? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

The door locks on the '96 work with vacuum - could be a leak.
