Default Door Sag

I have a 1998 A4 2.8 Quattro that the drivers side door has begun to sag. As soon as I lift the door handle to open the door it drops about 3/8". This make the door not align correctly when closing and has begun to rub the top corner of the window frame against the B pillar. Is there an adjustment to the hinges or some advise as to where to begin looking for the fix?
Thanks
Rick

sounds like damage from a collision. I have a 98.5 and all doors align perfectly. Anyone else?

Default Doesn't sound normal...

I would check all the bolts on the hinges to make sure they are tight. If you find any loose...you'll need to support the door's weight, and tighten the bolt...then hope it lines up right when you close it. If not, loosen the bolts, and repeat as needed.

May be possible that shims may need to be added.

Don't worry this car is made to stand up to the slams of German Women.
