i've gone through another door speaker, is there any replacement speaker that is compatible with the bose stereo on an 01 a4?

Check out partsexpress.com id replace both if its the woofer. If its the tweeter its a bit tripy since they run different ones on the pasanger and driver door. the driver door has a dual voice coil for some reason while the pasanger is a single.

the speaker building page has woofers and tweaters in all sizes and resistance that can perform better then the bose if u drop the cash.
