Lower 15mm nut was easily removed, though I cannot seem to break the mount free from the arm bolted to the transmission. This is the round mount with a hard rubber center.. seems to be threaded through however I cannot break it free.
Take the mounting bracket off the transmission, complete with the engine mount for better access and grip (8mm allen)? or keep trying to turn the mount with the transaxle mount arm intact?

i had alot of difficulty with that bolt using the socket wrench in my kit.
so I bought a longer handled socket wrench with a swivel head. the bolt came out easily after that. (using pb blaster too).
I was at the point of removing the arm too, but i realized it was the wrench holding me back from removing it.

I removed the arm
and it was very difficult to get the mount out - but it did break free after my hulk-like muscles kicked in.
I tried to get the assembly in a vise but my vice was not secured to a table - so that didn't do much good. Lots of PB Blaster, and quick bursts to break it free worked.
I would try to get the right tool and remove the mount while the arm is still attached as Modified suggested.

LOL!!! I'm accessing it right now while the engine is out..
could be from sitting in the engine bay I'm not getting a good look at things. Is it a nut on the end of the mount or a thru bolt that goes into the arm?

its a bolt that threads into the center of the mount.
so a good amount of break-away torque is soaked up by the mount.you have to keep torquing until the tang on the mount catches on the arm.

good luck, also put the nut and mostly tighten down the other connection on the mount
(if you've removed it). Otherwise more of the breakaway torque gets soaked up by the mount slapping around, and it prevent the tang from potentially disengaging.
i hope that makes sense.
