Default Dropped the oil pan on the caulkmiester...again.
Shoulda done the oil pump last time I had the pan down. Stupid. For everyone else: if you have to drop the pan for sludge, spend the $85 on a new pump while you are there.

New pump is installed, and no oil pressure light last night or on the way to work today. Fingers crossed.

Default thats a no brainer.
sort of simialr to replacing the waterpump when doing a timing belt.

If there is an upside, it's that I can do the job in about 2 hours now, down from four hours on my first attempt.
