Drove my Talon for the first time in a few months...
OMG. It was like a cold slap in the face. Rude and crude, noisy, with wander-ful steering. Stiff and scratchy feel to all the controls. A suspension with a peculiar blend of harshness, lots o' body motion, and road noise. Very little clutch pedal travel between friction point and full engage.
Audi = creamy
Talon = a wool blanket on bare skin
BUT, it would walk away from my unchipped '01 1.8 tqm with out breathing hard. A clutch with kung-fu grip despite 120k miles to snap your neck from a dead stop, more torque to say "buh-bye" from a roll. You could buy my car, add $6-7K in mods and have a low 12 sec car for under $10,000.
Mr. SS/mullet/iateav8 could appreciate that.
Wanna buy it? $3000. I'M KEEPIN' THE A4!

kinda in the same boat
Car is @ the shop gettin SOME NEW STUFF put in so im rollin my buddies 92 Civic Si Its his beater car and my gosh its loud noise and nothing works in it NO Radio NO Heat No Wipers and one head light!! The muffler is so loud i cant hear the perosn in the passenger side talking to me!! the clutch you have to double foot it to engage @ the light!! But man is the car nimble i can squeeze in and out of traffic!!! But it nothing like my A4!! makes me appreciate my car even more!!!

I'm into automotive diversity...
I can't stand the narrow-minded "my car is better than yours" crap that you read on ALL of the boards. I dig CARS, not just Audis, Hondas, Chebbies, whatever. Wish I had one of each.

I hear ya on that one!! I had a civic a while back all Riced out too!!!!!!!!
Im not baggin on Hondas and civics and all the riced out cars out there! Its just that his car is falling apart!!=Þ
