Depends...
I've kinda decided to hang onto the S for another 6 months...just seems such a waste to part with it, so we'll see how it goes.
If I do sell the S...I'll likely replace it on about 1-2 years with an E36.
If I hold onto the S for the long haul, 4 or 5 years down the road I may look at replacing it...in which case I'll probaby get an E46, or look at some older P cars.

good choices. if you look for a pcar, what would you be looking at?
if i could find a really nice clean 944 turbo s (951) or a really clean 968 i'd be all over them. i love those cars. plus the 993tt is still WAY out of my price range. i'm just thinking "out loud"...

Thanks...
It took me over a month to get over that one. I really didn't want to be in a car. First time I've ever felt that way. The scary part was if I had been distracted for only 1 more second, it would have been MUCH worse...not necessarily for me, but for the mother and 3 kids in that pick up (1 was belted in, but I don't think the other two were). I had *just* enough reaction time to avoid the cab of the truck, and aim for the tail. If I had hit them any harder, or hit closer to the cab, somebody would have been carted away in an ambulance. Anyone...it's done and over now...just have to be more careful.

993 or 996...
probably a NA variety to keep costs down. Sheer power is a lot of fun, but I'd have a bigger smile on my face from the handling. Utimately, I think that is what would win me over...so I could very likely live without the turbos.

glad youre feeling better
and yeah...we do get distracted. there's just so many things going on in our lives. its easy to start thinking of all that stuff when there isnt anybody else in the car, so you just have time to think. anyway, i know its been a long time, but once again, glad youre ok and everything is worked out.

i think i'd really have to do some driving with an experienced 911 owner
before i ever got one. just the differences in how you approach bends..when to get on and off the gas so you dont loop it, would keep me away from owning one until i was really comfortable of my skills in one
