Cops said he did slow down to make the 70 degrees turn on one of the curves on LSD and....(m)
he leaned his bike like the pros on a track and his left knee almost brushed the ground.
For people who're not familiar with Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, it's a 4 lane wide (each way) highway on the shore of Lake Michigan between downtown and the lake. Speed limit is 40mph (or is it 35 or 45? LOL everybody goes at 50), with the exception of the almost-right angled curves where the speed limit is 20mph. Gotta like those curves when everybody slows down and cars with Quattro keep going and going and going.
I noticed that lately at about midnite or so in the weekends tons of heavily mod Hondas, BMWs and some Audis show up for a "showdown". Maybe I will take a camera sometime and take some pics :>

My understanding is, he sped, got clocked at 160, tried to leave the cops in the dust.....(m)
so he might not be doing 160 for the whole 30 seconds, but might well be doing close to that speed.
By the way Lake Shore Drive is full of cracks and expansion joints on the bridges so it's a bless the city workers don't need to clean up body and bike pieces.
