dumb question i'm new to this.... how do i install clear side markers. i don't have repair manual

I have the older style square lights and if you want to take them off simply slide a credit card in from the front side of the car and it will unlatch a clip and pull out very easily.

audi 96 model...where should i put the credit card on top or the sides?

Default From the front side. I pushed the card in with a thin old T-shirt around it to protect the paint....
but it should come out very easily and not mess up the paint at all.
